Join Australian Wood Engraver, David Frazer this summer in Todi, Umbria, Italy — a charming hilltop town about 1.5 hours north of Rome — for an immersive ten-day course, including 2 days free for sight seeing, rest, or shopping: June 8–19, 2020.
The workshop with encompass drawing and wood engraving, encouraging a suite of engravings that capture the charming little Italian village and surrounding landscape. Students will walk away from the workshop with a collaborative Broadside — an engraving from each student and the instructor. No experience required.
Cost is $2579 USD ($3750 AUD) per student — ten days tuition, limited to 15 students.
Optional short courses for partners /spouses in Italian cooking, possibly short courses in pottery and jewellery and day outings and nature treks.
There will be some accommodation for 3-4 people and very reasonable lodging (35-100 EUR per night)
Students will be given the option to hang work in a lovely gallery on the last day with an opening in the evening.
