I always enjoy seeing the joy of discovering a new medium – especially when it is wood engraving and especially when it is in Finland! WEN member Mirka Hokkanen taught a beginning wood engraving class in Finland May 12-14th at the studio of Jaana Paulus in Jorvas (about 30 min from Helsinki). Mirka was kind enough to share some great pictures of the class!
