A Wood Engraving class taught by WEN member, Katie Commodore
February 19 – March 11 (4 weeks) – Fridays, 6:30 – 9:30 pm
Wood engraving is an amazing medium that can convey great detail in a relief print with minimal strain on the joints. Using Resingrave blocks (the modern replacement for end grain boxwood) the class will explore the versatility of this detailed medium. Experience with relief printing is a helpful, but not required. Students should come prepared to the first day with an idea for a 4” x 6” image.
Limited to 6 students
