Wow – what a great conference! A thousand thanks to Susan Lowdermilk and the Eugene Printmakers group for making our week in Oregon extra memorable! Horse Creek Lodge was a great home base and the University of Oregon (Eugene) revealed some wonderful local treasures. Here are just some of the many fun things that we did:

Frank French’s “decoration” for the articles in The Century Magazine, 1887 – from Bill Brandt’s “Interpretive Wood Engraving” book. This seems so fitting – akin to our own experience in Oregon!

Original drawings and sketches by Lynd Ward in preparation for works in the Reader’s Digest. University of Oregon Special Collections.
