WEN is honored to have partnered with Asheville BookWorks for at least eight years – having hosted several wood engraving workshops, a WEN conference and all three of WEN’s traveling exhibitions. You won’t want to miss this exhibit there – it will be the last WEN exhibit hosted at this site in Asheville, so we need to make this one shine bright into the future! Come celebrate the art of the book with 64 relief engravings by 37 contemporary artists — including the incredible work of North Carolina artists, Nancy Darrell and Andy Farkas.
There will also be an opportunity to learn the art of wood engraving with a weekend workshop at Asheville BookWorks with WEN President, Joanne Price Friday, Saturday & Sunday, December 14–16, 2018.
