Join WEN in celebrating our 25th Anniversary, a Wood Engraving Museum AND the Third Triennial Exhibition at Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin for a FREE public reception on Friday August 2, 5–7pm. The exhibition continues through September 29th, 2019, but it will be nearly impossible to find this many wood engravers in one place (more than 20) at any other time!
The Wood Engravers’ Network Third Triennial Exhibition is the third juried, traveling exhibit featuring sixty-four (64) engravings by thirty-seven (37) artists from New England and throughout the United States as well as Canada, Ireland and Belgium. Juried by Gray Zeitz of Larkspur Press, the exhibit has traveled from 2017 and will end in December 2019.
Exhibiting artists Tony Drehfal (Wisconsin), Judy Jaidinger (Chicago, IL), Anders Sandstrom & Keri Safranski (Indiana), and Sylvia Pixley (Michigan) [On the Lake #2″ featured at top] are representing the region. Most of these individuals will be in attendance at the reception — please join us!
