Cuban born, Maria Arango-Diener is a very talented and prolific printmaker primarily doing woodcuts and wood engravings. This relief engraving on corian is called Following the Light, based on the entrance to the Valley of Fire state park in Nevada’s Mojave Desert.
Maria organizes very ambitious exchange projects like her most recent Peace Puzzle or a past project, City of the World. Actually, she has organized at least four large-scale portfolio exchange projects! Artists from all over the world participate in these print exchanges.
