A longtime member of the Wood Engravers’ Network, Deborah Mae Broad is a talented and active artist who loves animals.
Deborah Mae taught Printmaking, Drawing and Bronze casting at Minnesota State University – Moorhead (then Moorhead State University) from 1982 until 2003 when she retired to be a full time artist. She works in a renovated granary and chicken house (Prairie Press) on her farmstead near Hawley, Minnesota. She lives there with her husband Byron, BarFly the mule, Hog the quarter horse, Stella and Lola the dogs, and 19 rescued cats. (all spayed and neutered)
