Tortoises in Contemporary Wood Engraving
The tortoise is a reptile with great textures and patterns – what wood engraver wouldn’t enjoy depicting them?! There are several contemporary examples of the tortoise in wood engraving below, including work by WEN members, Eric Hoffman, Sarah Brown and Tony Drehfal. Best enjoyed at a slow pace :)
