LODGING
See rates below for rooms/cabins at Horse Creek Lodge. Call 541-822-3243 for reservations – tell them you’re with the Wood Engravers’ Network Conference. Specify if you are requesting to share a room with someone. No payment will be required up front – lodging payment will be collected in full by June 28 during the conference. Get your reservations in early – there are beds for only 16 or so people left! Once these are full, you will need to seek out other lodging options.
Because we are renting the entire Lodge and grounds for the week, we may not be able to pro-rate room prices for fewer nights, unless we eliminate the use of one whole cabin. Guests will be charged the appropriate room/bed price x 7 days.
TENT CAMPING is free and the campground has convenient amenities just for campers – the best option if staying for only a few days at Horse Creek Lodge. There are also options for a limited number of small RVs/trailers – call Horse Creek Lodge for more details and to reserve.

MEALS
Light diy breakfast foods and some snacks will be available throughout the conference. Two dinners and three lunches will be included in the conference fee.
Nearby food options are limited. The best option (about a 15-20 minute walk) is the McKenzie General Store – a general store offering grocery staples, a restaurant (Obsidian Grill), and an event space with live music/movies on Thursdays and Saturdays, plus craft beer, wine, cider and kombucha. The next closest restaurant option is about 4 miles away: Takoda’s Restaurant (pizza, burgers).
Each cabin has a fully functioning kitchen with refrigerators, so grabbing some provisions from the General Store will go a long way for fast, convenient meals during the conference
TRAVEL
The closest Airport is Eugene International Airport – a one hour and fifteen minute drive to Horse Creek Lodge. The Portland Airport is almost a 3 hour drive to Horse Creek Lodge.
Members of Eugene Printmakers will shuttle WEN members from the airport to the lodge. Contact Susan Lowdermilk susanlowdermilk1@gmail.com to schedule a ride.
There is a bus that goes from the airport, Eugene Station (Bay G) to McKenzie Bridge. Bus Route #91 takes anywhere from 1.5 – 1.75 hours, but is a straight shot (no transfers).
